星見テラセ

白ウサギ、赤い月、濃紺の夜空……。

　近未来。
それほど小さくもなく大きくもない街。
五月初頭、世間はゴールデンウィークで浮かれている。
なにも知らずに。

夜空に浮かぶ欠けた月は、血染めのような妖しい真紅の光を帯びていた。
目の前には、陳腐なウサギの着ぐるみが、銃を構えて立っている。

「キミも気がついてしまったんだね？
　この世界の秘密に」

哀れむような、それでいて楽しんでいるような物言いだった。
