６月となり季節は梅雨へと移り変わっていた。
玲の研修も終わり、徐々に捜査に加わるようになっていたところへ電脳部部長から呼び出される。
一緒に呼び出された桂太と部長室に向かうと、部長からショッキングな話と密命が下される。
二人の上司である三神課長が過去に違法行為をしているということ、そしてそれを捜査せよと。
